Botanicare’s Cocogro consists of some of the world’s best premium long coir fibers. When added to growing media, these fibers promote hearty root development by reducing dust and providing ample air space and excellent drainage. Cocogro’s coir fibers aren’t harvested until they have seen at least three monsoon seasons, which is nature’s way of naturally washing harmful salts and potassium from the fibers. The compressed Cocogro Bale yields 65 to 70 liters of Cocogro.
This is easy to use, just add warm water and let it stand until it's hydrated. I have 2 worm bins, each with about 1500 worms. Each bedding change lasts about 6 weeks, so the bale lasts about 3 changes for each bin.Chris

Best stuff from a great store!
I started using Coco-Gro about 6 years ago to mix my container soil. Then we moved and I had to have it shipped in for my worm beds. This bale is cost efficient to use. I break off just enough to moisten what I need, the rest I store dry until I need it again. Mid-west Hydroponics processed my order fast! I placed it on-line at about 1:30 am on a Monday and they shipped it that same day! I recieved it on Wednesday, 2 days later! I recommend both the Botanicare Coco-Gro and Midwest Hydroponics.Unknown

More than I thought
I've used the 1.75cu ft CocoGro b4 and decided to try this. Having never used a compressed coco b4, I'm surprised by how much there actually is, much more than I thought. That's great because it saves me some money over the other bag. I use it in my container plants and worm beds. It's just what I needed.Chris
